2013 - Easter EggStravaganza
An amazing time as always! Many thanks to all those that brought their little ones, friends, families and laughs to the beautiful day!
While the day started with adorable little ones running after our very own Easter Bunny, it was wonderful to watch the kids search for eggs, and help others while they're at it!
Special thanks to the dads that made their way as well!

Nutrition & Health... the first of many inspirational topics to come this semester!
We were blessed Friday, January 12 to have Traci Davis & Kristina Rhodes remind us how we are all able to make small changes in our lives towards better health.
Be it smart choices in the grocery store, to what we choose to cook for dinner. We can all benefit from new recipes and snacks that incorporate more whole grains, fruits, vegetables... WAIT! We already knew that! Of course we know - it's the time factor that gets in the way! Kristina brings that home with ideas on HOW we can make this work and put it in action! Be sure to check out her food blog (see the links on the right hand nav bar).
Speaking of action... I decided to leave the video of Traci completing a 'burpee' between us, and quickly remind you of the great ideas to easily add a few new exercises into our lives.
Right now - are you sitting in front of your computer? Have you thought about sitting on an exercise ball instead of the chair or couch? Think of the core muscles you'll be working in that simple 30 minutes!
Traci also recommended visiting Pinterest for circuit training ideas. Easy activities that only take one's body weight like jumping jacks, push ups, dips, squats, and her favorite - burpees!

Mahany Park, located at the corner of Woodcreek Oaks Blvd and Pleasant Grove Blvd. behind the Martha Riley Library in Roseville. This park has a sand put, you may want to bring sand toys.
Thursday, June 14th - Restaurant Fundraiser, Rubio's (Douglas Location)
2pm - 9pm
1913 Douglas Blvd, Roseville 95661 (Corner of Douglas and Rocky Ridge)
Rubio's is giving MOPS 20% of all proceeds!

You may want to bring suits and towels. This park has a water play area.

Light refreshments will be provided for the moms. Parents need to bring snacks for their kids as well as any pool safety gear they may need.

Below you will find the Fall 2012 MOPS Registration Form as promised, along with the Scholarship Form if needed. Fall Registration begins tomorrow. Be sure to turn your forms and money into Pam (you can also pay online at http://creekside-online.com/ . Just be sure to tell Pam and select MOPS in the drop down box on the website.). We also have printed forms at your tables for you tomorrow too. :)
Remember to get your forms in as soon as possible as childcare does fill up fast. Plus we get a great reduced price from MOPS International on our memberships!

MOPS Garage Sale!
Hi Ladies! This weekend is our biggest MOPS fundraiser of the year! We need all hands on deck to make this a successful event. Please remember the shifts you signed up for last meeting. Friday will be sorting and organizing donations. Saturday will be selling our items! The garage sale is at Emily Nelson's house (check the directory for her address) from 7am- 12:30pm. Easter Egg Hunt!
Our annual MOPS Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Good Friday, April 6th, from 10-1pm at HC Elliott Park in Roseville. Bring 12 filled eggs per child, your potluck items, and your camera! Due to the predicted heavy rain on Friday, March 16, we have decided to officially CANCEL the park day. However, we encourage you to try and get together with your tables or any MOPS friends for a smaller play date, to hang at the library, mall, coffee, etc! Use this time to build relationships with one another! See you all next week at our March 23rd MOPS Meeting!
