The Last Supper Potluck

Thursday, April 1, 6:00 PM

Bring your family, friends, a Bible and a dish to share as we break bread together and reflect on Jesus' last meal this side of Heaven.

Last name beginning with:

A-M bring a main dish to serve 8;

N-S bring a side dish to serve 8;

T-Z bring dessert to serve 12.

Drinks, bread and dinnerware are provided. Please be sure to bring your own serving utensils.

Good Friday Worship Night

Friday, April 2, 7 - 8 PM

Join us for an evening of worship and reflection as we ponder once again the purpose of the cross and the depth of Christ’s agony and love. Easter Egg Hunt Details and Directions

This Friday, April 2, will be our MOPS Easter Egg hunt at 10:00 am. The park is located at 1421 Cushendall in Roseville (see directions below). If the hunt is canceled due to weather, a note will be posted here by 8:00 am on Friday morning.

For every child that will be participating in the hunt, please bring one dozen filled eggs to contribute. Hope to see you Friday!

65 South
Exit Pleasant Grove, turn right
Left on Woodcreek Oaks Blvd
Right on Junction
Left on Cushendall (the 2nd street on the left, after Varick/Aylsebury)
Park will be on your right at 1421 Cushendall

MOPS Garage Sale Fundraiser

We are scheduled to hold our Spring Garage Sale on the morning of Saturday, April 10th, at Diana Smith's home. This is a big fundraiser for MOPS to help keep our cost down.

How You Can Help...
- Clean out your unused household items and donate them to sell.

- Assist with organizing items the night before the sale on April 9th. This is a good time to pre-shop!

- Volunteer at the sale on the morning of April 10th.


***All items for donation can be dropped off at Diana's house beginning Monday, April 5.***

Thank you for your support! This fundraiser has been a huge success in the past and a lot of fun!

Homemade Spa Bath Products

Hello Ladies,

Below are the bath products we made at our last meeting. Please also view the bottom for some other fun products!

Homemade Milk Bath
(thanks toAngela Glover!)
1/2 cup powdered milk
1/4 cup Epsom salts
½ tbsp. baking soda
½ tsp. cornstarch
few drops of essential oil or 1/8 tsp. fragrance oil
optional: ¼ cup lavender buds
or dried flower petals

Natural Oatmeal Bath
(to relieve eczema/itchy skin)
½ cup ground oatmeal or Scottish oatmeal
½ cup cornstarch

Scented Bath Salts
1 cup Epsom salts
1/8 tsp. fragrance oil or few drops essential oil or dried lavender/flower petals
optional: 1 drop food coloring

Fragrance oil: Adamsboro Sundries (adamsborosundries.etsy.com)

California lavender buds: The Violet Patch (thevioletpatch.etsy.com)

Natural soaps: Oil and Spice (oilandspice.etsy.com or oilandspicebath.com)



Directions for mixing:
1. Add ingredients to Ziploc bag and seal
2. Shake to mix ingredients thoroughly
3. Pour spa product into small clear gift bag

**Tip**If scent is too light, add a few drops more of oil
If scent is too strong, add more Epsom salts


Other Bath Products to Try…


Chamomile-Mint Bath Salts
1/2 cup epsom salts
1/4 cup sea salt
2 bags peppermint tea (4 tsp leaves)
2 bags chamomile tea (4 tsp leaves)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon mint extract
Directions:

In a mixing bowl, combine both salts.

Add tea leaves and stir well.

Sprinkle both extracts over top of mixture and, with a wooden spoon, blend the extracts evenly throughout the salt mixture.

Fill a decorative jar with salts and close tightly.

Brown Sugar Scrub

1/2 cup of brown sugar

1/4 cup of almond oil

1/4 cup of liquid Ivory hand soap

1/4 tsp of vanilla
Directions:
Mix ingredients and use as a body scrub/exfoliator.
